About

Union Hill Water Association is a 501(c)12, non-profit member-owned, water utility originally incorporated in April 1966 to distribute drinking and domestic water in rural King County, east of the City of Redmond.

Today, UHWA is a Group A water system as defined by Washington Administrative Code (WAC), Chapter 246-290.  We produce around 90,000,000 gallons of water a year from groundwater production wells.  UHWA maintains over 52 miles of pipe and four storage tanks with a combined capacity of 6,650,000 gallons.

We currently serve over 2,100 members within our service area.

Management and Operations

A five-member Board of Trustees, elected by the Members, governs the Association. UHWA employs a Water Operator certified by the Washington Department of Health who maintains the water system and a General Manager who oversees day-to-day operations.

The Board meets on the second Tuesday of each month.
